Once upon a time there was a unique soul who had its very own distinctive story, one like no other. As this soul’s story unfolded it interacted with hundreds even thousands of other unique souls each in turn experiencing their own individual story. Each story intertwined to make up a lifetime of experience. Each experience full of characters that come and go some who added value and some challenge.
As the story progressed new chapters opened with new opportunities and different choices to be made. The soul knew what it had come to do and through its everyday life worked hard to find a way to fulfil its purpose and helping those it could to do the same.
There was a time limit to this story and the soul was aware yet the body, that enabled it to carry out its story, was not aware how long that would be.
Each day was another day towards the fulfilment of its purpose. The soul accruing knowledge, feelings and emotions adding to its own individual wisdom as it progressed through its story.
Each day, enriched by the opportunity of choice, the soul gathered feelings of joy, passion, love and hope alongside despair, sorrow and hurt, it began to expand its understanding of all it had been through.
The soul began to see that life itself was a series of chapters, beginnings, and endings – all connected, to show the soul what it had come to see and to understand. It was blessed with this privilege of life and all it offered. It began to see the richness and wealth of all the choices it could make, and that each choice would take it to a new path, a new beginning, a new experience. Yet, within that path it would come to understand what it had come to know.
This time the story was of understanding, compassion and care, wrapped up with forgiveness. Another soul may have wrestled with trust and betrayal and another story may have been of success and charity, all stories diverse yet rich in its own purpose.
The scope of learning before each soul was enormous. Yet life also threw some twists and turns, unplanned avenues were explored and occasionally the soul was delayed in its roaming through life, losing its way by the distractions the body and mind found in life though nothing was wasted, it all led to the soul’s goal, the aim was growth and evolution.
The soul was filled by the experience with love and light despite it finding out about the lower vibrations in life as well as the high. Growth was growth and living in just one vibration would not be the best way to understand all aspects of the range of emotions that could be felt. So, the soul was happy it had seen and felt all parts of the rich tapestry of life.
The Mind had its moments, ignoring the soul of course, focusing on day-to-day survival which the soul knew was important but not really why it was here. Life had a deeper meaning for the soul and Mind and Body were part of the story but not really the reason for the soul’s existence. They were co-workers, each having its job to do – to fully enable the soul’s story.
One day, the soul took time out to reflect on its progress. Well, there had been many ups and downs, twists and turns, lots of learning, gathering of knowledge on all levels. It had seen doors closing and the ends of chapters as people left the story and it had seen new beginnings too when new exciting opportunities brought bold characters entering for different and wonderful interactions.
Challenges too were a part of the story, with situations which no longer served the soul’s learning, the lesson, the experience, the feeling had all been acknowledged and now it was time to let go and make space for something else.
Each soul had a unique beginning to its story which set it on its path for what it had come to experience and so no two stories were alike although similar threads within them overlapped allowing empathy between souls and through this interaction more learning of love and light, of hope, resilience and determination.
Of course, many souls recognised each other and were united in their mission to help each other fulfil what they had come to do, all with unconditional love. Sometimes this love may have been heavily hidden – the surface interaction may have been very different but still coming from a place of highest good for the soul’s story and experience.
Often the soul would remember later those difficult interactions were really delivered with love at the heart of them.
So, the soul lived its life, did its best to fulfil its purpose, grew through its experience, enjoyed the various chapters of its story and like all souls approached the end of the story. No regrets, full of joy, love, passion, curiosity until the end of the story. It had exchanged its love and light, its gifts, knowledge and wisdom with every other soul within its story and had received the same from the other souls it had come in contact with.
The story of the soul had been written just like the many millions of other souls living their story too with new chapters and beginnings, with endings, with love and light and hope and even dark times to compare with and appreciate the light.
A story which had a unique beginning, middle and now an end filled with chapters upon chapters of interesting and varied experiences. Some short, some long, feeling as if they would never end yet all valuable because they were part of a unique story. The soul’s story, one like no other and as the soul’s story neared its end it wondered if it had truly accomplished all that it had set out to do.
Had it told the people it was close to they were appreciated and loved? Had it been a good example to those it held dear? Had it tried all the things the world had to offer even when it was scared? Had it offered something extra to the world and left something as a gift that would be remembered? Had it made the most of the opportunity of life so it could feel at peace? Had it experienced what it came to understand this time?
The soul remembered who it really was. The last task left for this unique soul to do was simple: To carry all that they had experienced, the love, the compassion, the dark times too, all of it and take it home as expanded wisdom to share with the Universe.
As the unique soul’s story ended, it began another in another place and time.
This was the way of the Universe because when there is an ending, space is always made for a new beginning.
