I believe that much of the scourge of anxiety so prevalent today is because many sensitive and intuitive people know in their hearts that the old world we created, based largely upon ignorance of Divine Law, is finished or at best hanging on by its fingernails. There is no ‘going back’, no ‘restarting’. Consequently, a sense of doom, of inevitability, hangs over us. It is true that these are the end times, but not in any apocalyptic sense. Rather, the world trembles on the threshold of a true New Age, an entirely new civilisation based upon sharing, justice and peace, the realisation of Divine Law and indeed Divine Love – the manifestation of Divinity on Earth. A messiah isn’t coming, but a teacher is indeed, He is already here. The astonishing truth is that the Aquarian Age has brought a great avatar among us; suffering and war will end; heaven on earth shall be realised. Perhaps many had grown cynical and fearful that all this was merely a pipe dream, but they may be assured that their fears are groundless.
Following the terrible suffering of the two World Wars, the world teacher for the Age of Aquarius, whose name is Maitreya, declared that He would descend from his Himalayan retreat at the earliest opportunity, if humanity would put its house in better order. However, because it failed to do so, it was 1977 before the Lord of Love himself finally came into the modern world where he has worked tirelessly ever since, behind the scenes, preparing for his emergence.
Much of the chaos, the division, the strife and tension we see today represents both the end of the old way of doing things and the birth pangs of the new world as it struggles to emerge. Selfishness, greed and wanton materialism have brought the very planet itself to the brink of destruction. Now, under the teacher’s wise tutelage, the opposite qualities of selflessness, altruism and spiritual love shall manifest and humanity demonstrate its latent divinity in full physical fact.
Above all, the World Teacher shall teach us that to share is divine, and therefore to share the world’s resources equally is to manifest divinity on a global scale. Sharing brings justice, and justice brings peace – world peace, for all time.
Maitreya waits in the wings with many masters at his side, for us to be truly ready to accept his teaching: they cannot force our hand, for free will is sacrosanct. Now, at this turbulent time, in this desperate hour, as all life is threatened by the havoc we have wreaked, he is prepared to step forward and declare his presence, not to sweep our problems away but to show us how to solve them and rebuild the world. The time is at hand, simply because there is no more time – the darkness is passing, and the light must come. Rejoice; be gld; have faith and believe – the promise of the Age of Aquarius is about to begin.
