For the past 35 years, KumariDevi (aka Paula Muran) has served as a conduit between humanity and the Divine. Her sacred path began in childhood. Like many children, she spoke with imaginary friends, but a father-like voice never left her. This daily communication matured as she grew, guiding her through life.
While living in Manhattan after college, KumariDevi attended a Buddhist event where the Lama Rinpoche pointed directly at her and said, “Young lady, you will experience Nirvana in this life.” Although unaware of the significance at the time, his words ignited something within her. She soon embarked on deeper studies of yoga, silent meditation retreats, and Buddhist teachings, setting the stage for her lifelong journey into spiritual awakening and service.
Moving to Los Angeles during the height of the New Age movement, when channeling was rapidly expanding, KumariDevi became part of the original Bashar group and among the first with Ammachi, Divine Mother, gaining phenomenal insights into high consciousness and advanced healing techniques.
At one point, she signed up for a ‘Learn to Channel’ class, not knowing it would change her life forever. As the group sat quietly, the space fell silent, and a powerful, loving presence entered. Without hesitation, words flowed through her: “I Am the Truth, and I Am the Light. I Am Sanatkumara.” From that moment, she was deeply connected to the energy of Kumara, or Sanatkumara. This connection expanded her intuitive abilities and opened her to the inner workings of consciousness in ways she had never imagined.
Her journey continued with a profound spiritual awakening in 1986, an experience that silenced her mind and opened her heart to unconditional love. In the 1990s, she shared the transmissions publicly, channeling in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Scotland and London.
SIDE NOTE: KumariDevi had never heard of Sanatkumara before this profound channeling experience. Curious, she shared what had happened with a friend, who mentioned she would be attending a channeling session for the White Brotherhood and offered to ask about Sanatkumara there. The following morning, her friend called, her voice filled with excitement. “Paula, you must call this woman, Diana, for a private channeling.” She picked up the phone and scheduled a session at a local New Age bookstore.
When the channeling began, the voice spoke in the same manner as the voice she heard in childhood: “I am the truth, the light, and the way. I am known as the Supreme Commander, the one who is of the light, and of the way. I am termed Sanatkumara. I welcome you, Eagle One. Of the choices that were made, you were chosen first. The first of the 144,000 chosen to lead the way and clear the path into the light.”
The channeling continued, outlining the path of her life with profound clarity and depth. Sanatkumara called her a Bodhisattva and informed her that the agreement she made with him could not be broken in this lifetime as the emissary of His teachings.
Sacred Travel
Since the Harmonic Convergence, world spiritual event in 1987, KumariDevi has produced and led sacred tours across the globe. Her journeys have taken her to India, Bali, Tibet and Nepal, Peru, the Yucatan, Scotland, and Egypt, where she has guided countless individuals into deep soul remembrance and activation.
Many miracles and planetary grid-activation occurred while traveling. In Peru the Solar Disc appeared overhead, and she activated the Temple of Illumination in Lake Titicaca. Recently, returned from leading her fourth sacred tour to Egypt, where she activated Divine Feminine with the Hathor Codes, and guiding others into deep soul remembrance.
Healing Work
With peerless intuition, and a silent mind, she has a rare ability to dive deep into the subconscious mind and confront the ego to end suffering and opening the consciousness to receive higher wisdom. She accesses the electromagnetic field releasing karma, implants, and facilitates deep subconscious healing to elevate the consciousness and awaken the soul’s true essence.
Her healing career began in the 1990s and later expanded to include Medical Intuition. She has always been passionate about supporting others in maintaining a healthy body, mind, and an awakened spirit.
Your work emphasizes embodied awakening, why is being emotionally present so critical in today’s spiritual landscape?
The foundation of enlightenment isn’t just spiritual insight or mystical experiences; it is emotional and mental healing. True awakening arises when we clear the distortions held in the mind and release the emotional pain stored in the body. Enlightenment is not an escape from our humanity, but a deep integration that transforms the mind, liberates the emotions, and awakens the soul to its purest truth.
Emotions are the gateways. They show us where we’re holding pain, resistance, or unprocessed memory, also reveal where love, joy, and peace already live within us.
When we are emotionally present, we respond to life with authenticity and grounded clarity rather than reacting from old wounds or spiritual ideals that bypass reality. Embodied Awakening is being present and anchors spiritual awareness into the body. It allows us to live our awakening fully—to be both deeply human and deeply divine.
